Warp 9 Imaging uses the finest imaging system available, the "Betterlight" scan back. This system coupled with our 4x5 view camera delivers the highest resolution and sharpest detail possible. We are direct to digital without the need to develop and scan film. With an average file size of 250MB you won't get this kind of quality from a DSLR camera.
Warp 9 Imaging has a program created explicitly for Art Reproduction. Our Artist's Program consists of the following steps:
1. Review and analysis of the Art Piece and consultation.
2. Create a high resolution digital master file.
3. Create the proper color corrected detail file.
4. Print proofs and modify as necessary to get accurate reproduction.
5. Review the final proof with the artist and repeat as necessary.
6. Color lock the final digital file and create the Print Master file.
Once we have the Print Master file you are able to have any size print, on a variety of media, reproduced faithfully with outstanding color and detail. We spend many hours on the creation of the Print Master so that we, and you, can be sure that future generations of prints will have the same quality as the first.
