Are you looking to take your photography to the next level? Do you need help understanding how to use Photoshop to prepare your images for printing? Have a new digital camera and need help figuring out how to use it? Confused by “Color Management”?

The San Diego Photo Workshops are designed to provide useful and practical information for the beginner through advanced photographer.  The sessions cover introductory through advanced concepts in photography, image management, workflow and field trips.  These modules can be taken in any order but are designed to lead you from introductory concepts through advanced techniques, color management, file management, image preparation and printing.

We offer classes as well as one-on-one personalized instruction. For personalized instruction we will discuss what you want to accomplish and develop a plan to meet your goal. This may include any, or all, of the photographic workflow, from how to make optimal use of your camera, to editing in Photoshop, and preparing for prints, as well as proper framing.

The workshops are divided into groups based upon workflow and concepts:

From Click to Print – What to do after you’ve taken the photograph.

Putting it to Practice

 

Unless otherwise noted, classes are generally 3 hours each.  Workshops are held at Warp 9 Imaging in North Park.  Field trips will be listed as they are scheduled.  The cost is only $40 per session, unless otherwise noted.  You may sign up for any class, in any order.  Pre-requisites are listed as appropriate.
