In this class we go beyond taking pictures and explore some of the unique features that digital photography makes possible.  Topics will include:

• High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photography
  HDR allows us to better express in our photographs the world that we see.  We’ll look at how to take the base photos and then how to make the final image using Photomatix and Photoshop.
  
  
• Helicon Focus
  Do you ever need much greater depth of field than your shooting aperture will allow?  Do you want to take macro photos with extreme DOF?  We’ll see how to do this using careful shooting technique and software now available to photographers.
  
  
• Shooting Panoramic Images
  Creating great panoramic images has never been easier.  With a few techniques you can master this and create stunning images.
  

 

Attendees should bring their camera, manual and tripod.

Cost: $50

Appropriate for beginning and intermediate levels.  Participants should know the material covered in classes Introduction to Photography and Get to Know Your Camera.
