Color Management

Are you frustrated about why your prints aren’t coming out the way you want?  How come your prints don’t look like your monitor?  Are you confused about profiles, working space, RGB, sRGB?    If this is the case then this is the class for you.

In this workshop we'll explain how a color managed workflow will improve your ability to make predictable and repeatable prints.

We'll cover the color management workflow from input (cameras) to review on monitors to output.

This is a hands on workshop where we'll create input profiles, calibrate and profile monitors and create an inkjet output profile. Participants are encouraged to bring in their camera, laptop and printer. There are some size limitations so contact me first.

Take control of your color and produce great prints.
Topics will include:

  • Why colors don't always match.
  • Proper workflow
  • What is a profile?
  • Rendering intent
  • Input profiling - Camera or scanner
  • Monitor profiling - Viewing
  • Printer profiling - Custom profile for your paper and printer

Appropriate for beginning and intermediate levels.
