Come experience the other side of Death Valley. The focus of this workshop is on photographing the wildflowers of the desert. We'll do this while shooting in some of the lesser traveled areas in the park. Mosaic Canyon, Titus Canyon and "The Racetrack" are some of the locations we'll attempt.
Death Valley is best known for it's dry desert vistas. In one of the hottest and driest places on the planet we'll be looking for the wildflower bloom from the desert valley to the higher elevations.
This workshop is suitable for shooters of all types. We'll cover composition, Macro photography, exposure, High Dynamic Range, depth of field and whatever other topic the participants would like to explore.
After the trip we'll have wrap up session to review and critique images from the trip.
The cost of the 3 1/2 Day workshop is $450 plus room and transportation. We'll be staying at Stovepipe Wells. Participants are responsible for their own hotel reservations. I'll help facilitate room sharing if you want to save on expenses. We'll carpool as much as possible.
To reserve a space or for more questions please contact me. I'll provide the details of the trip as well as the equipment and clothing to bring along.
The workshop requires a minimum of 6 participants. I look forward to hearing from you.
